Belle Magazine Shoot

We just shot another issue of Belle Magazine on location at Aloft Hotel in West Broad Village, Short Pump that will hit stands in June. The makeup was fresh and light to go with the summer fashions selected by my friend and Fashion Editor Lauren Healy. I had the opportunity to work with Hair Stylist, Kate Montgomery again who I worked with on the Summer/Fall issue of VaBride Magazine that also comes out in June. As always, the fun and creativity were in full swing...another job enjoyed!

Va Bride Magazine Shoot





Polished Pout just finished up an amazing photo shoot for the summer 2011 fashion spread coming out in the June issue of Virginia Bride Magazine. We had the luxury of shooting in one of my favorite areas in Virginia just west of Charlottesville. The venue was Swannanoa in Afton surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Swannanoa, as some may know, was the summer mansion of the famous James H. Dooley of Richmond who also built Maymont. We were surrounded by Georgian marble, Tiffany windows, gold plumbing fixtures, and terraced gardens...truly BREATHTAKING!

The Tuckahoe Woman's Club Annual Fashion Show 2011

         Had a great time working with my good friend and fellow Makeup Artist Angela Roth at The Tuckahoe Woman's Club  for their annual Spring Fashion Show. It had been over five years since I last participated so it was wonderful to be involved again.
